Bayern Munich St. Pauli prediction 2025-03-29

Bayern Munich vs St. Pauli prediction: GERMANY: Bundesliga betting tips on match 2025-03-28 14:30.
[p]For the second time this season Bayern Munich went into an international break having failed to win two successive Bundesliga fixtures (D1, L1), and after drawing 1-1 with Union Berlin, their lead over reigning champions Bayer Leverkusen has been cut to six points. Last time it happened in October, they bounced back with an immediate home win and Vincent Kompany’s team will hope for a repeat as they host St. Pauli in a first home H2H since 2010.[/p]

[p]Back then, they cruised to a 3-0 victory, their third successive win without conceding in home H2Hs, but they’ll be wary of expecting anything to come easy after losing 3-2 to Bochum here in their last home league fixture. They’d won their previous ten Bundesliga home games before that, so despite losing from 2-0 up before half-time, the Bavarians will start as heavy favourites against another side battling to avoid the drop.[/p]

[p]St. Pauli won’t have been amused to see Bochum win here as they are one of the three sides below them in the table, although Alexander Blessin’s outfit are still clear of the bottom three. With their survival chances very much alive, they’re trying to go three league games unbeaten for just the second time this season (W1, D1) having beaten Hoffenheim 1-0 before the break.[/p]

[p]With more away wins (four) in the Bundesliga this term than home wins (three), all four of them accompanied by a clean sheet, the Neighbourhood Kickers cannot be taken lightly on their travels, although they haven’t won any of their last three league road games (D1, L2). Entertainment may also be at a premium given none of their last six Bundesliga away fixtures produced over 2.5 goals, with exactly two netted in each of their last four (W1, D1, L2).[/p]

[p]Players to watch: Fresh from helping Germany into the UEFA Nations League finals, each of Jamal Musiala’s last five Bundesliga goals for Bayern came at home, with all four scoring appearances in that time seeing Bayern net 4+ times. No St. Pauli player has assisted more Bundesliga goals than Jackson Irvine’s five this season – four of them came on the road. [/p]

[p]Hot streak: St. Pauli have conceded four or more corners in all 13 league away games this term (W4, D1, L8).[/p]
