Bochum Augsburg prediction 2025-04-12

Bochum vs Augsburg prediction: GERMANY: Bundesliga betting tips on match 2025-04-11 13:30.
[p]With just six games left in the Bundesliga season, Bochum’s time to launch a survival bid is running out with six points separating them from guaranteed safety. Three successive losses – and four defeats in their last five league outings (W1) – has landed them in trouble after a mid-season purple patch, with their 20 points from 28 matches representing their worst-ever Bundesliga season at this stage.[/p]

[p]A return home offers no promise of improvement for the Blues, who’ve lost their last three matches at the Vonovia Ruhrstadion by an aggregate score of 8-1. Bochum last lost four successive home Bundesliga matches towards the end of the 2009/10 season – a campaign in which they were relegated![/p]

[p]Looking to pile on the misery are Augsburg, who will be looking for a response after their club record 11-game unbeaten run in the Bundesliga (W6, D5) came to an end with a 3-1 defeat to league leaders Bayern Munich last week. While there’s no shame in losing to such opposition, the result dented their hopes of European qualification, with Jess Thorup’s men starting the round five points adrift of the top six.[/p]

[p]The road seems to be the perfect destination to get those ambitions back on track, with Augsburg unbeaten on their Bundesliga travels in 2025 (W4, D3), keeping five clean sheets along the way. Adding to the win column here would see them secure a league double over Bochum for the first time ever, but the 1-0 victory in the reverse fixture was one of just three in ten prior H2Hs (D2, L5).[/p]

[p]Players to watch: Bochum’s top scorer Myron Boadu (G7) has netted either their first or last goal in all four of his scoring outings this season, yet none of those matches ended in victory for his side (D2, L2). Augsburg’s Phillip Tietz scored the game’s only goal in the reverse fixture, with that one of three match openers from his last four scoring appearances.[/p]

[p]Hot stat: Bochum manager Dieter Hecking has lost just three of his 19 meetings with Augsburg (W8, D8).[/p]
