Bochum Dortmund prediction 2025-02-15

Bochum vs Dortmund prediction: GERMANY: Bundesliga betting tips on match 2025-02-14 14:30.
[p]Bochum are still bottom of the Bundesliga after drawing 2-2 with fellow strugglers Holstein Kiel last weekend, and following a run of four winless league games (D2, L2) they are now seven points behind 15th-placed Hoffenheim. With Myron Boadu, who scored both goals against Kiel, going down injured in that game and now set to miss this clash with Borussia Dortmund, things are looking increasingly desperate for Dieter Hecking’s men.[/p]

[p]Both of their league wins this season at least came at home (D3, L5), which could offer them some hope, particularly as they’ve only lost one of their last four in the Bundesliga here (W2, D1). The visit of Dortmund may seem daunting, but Bochum often raise their game against BVB as they’ve drawn the last three home H2Hs by the same 1-1 scoreline.[/p]

[p]Niko Kovač began life in charge of his fourth Bundesliga club with a 2-1 defeat to Stuttgart last Saturday. This will be his first taste of a Ruhr derby, and he’ll feel the pressure to start getting results with Dortmund in the unusual position of being in the bottom half at this stage after losing four of their last six league fixtures (W1, D1).[/p]

[p]With just two away wins all season in the Bundesliga (D2, L6), Dortmund could struggle at Vonovia-Ruhrstadion once again, although not if they emulate Tuesday night’s UEFA Champions League performance away at Sporting Lisbon (W 3-0). At least Kovač now has a win under his belt, and he already has three to his name against Bochum as a manager (L1), although that sole defeat was in his last such game and on this ground last season.[/p]

[p]Players to watch: Bochum’s Matúš Bero scored the opener in the previous H2H (L 4-2 in September) and assisted against Kiel, but with three yellow cards in his last three appearances, he might be more likely to pick up a booking here. Dortmund’s Serhou Guirassy scored a brace when these two last played and he has now scored six times across his last six appearances.[/p]

[p]Hot stat: No side has drawn a first-half blank more often than Bochum in the Bundesliga this term (14 times).[/p]
