Bochum Stuttgart prediction 2025-04-05

Bochum vs Stuttgart prediction: GERMANY: Bundesliga betting tips on match 2025-04-04 13:30.
[p]Time is running out for Bochum if they are going to extend their four-year stint in the Bundesliga. Having avoided the drop by winning the relegation play-off last season, the 2024/25 campaign has been a constant struggle for the Blues, and a 3-1 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen last time out means they enter this round five points from safety with seven games remaining.[/p]

[p]The appointment of Dieter Hecking in November has given the club a fighting chance of staying up, as each of their five league wins has come since he took the reins (D4, L9). He will be rewarded with a new two-year contract should he guide Bochum to safety, but their survival prospects could be dashed here against a Stuttgart side they’ve beaten in just one of their last 15 Bundesliga H2Hs (D4, L10).[/p]

[p]That makes Bochum a welcome opponent for Stuttgart, who have plummeted down the table thanks to a six-game winless run in the Bundesliga (D2, L4) despite being the first to break the deadlock in five of them! Nearly 30% (13) of the 44 goals they have conceded in the league this season have come during that six-game period, with manager Sebastian Hoeneß conceding his side are making “too many mistakes” at the back.[/p]

[p]The recent run means the Reds might miss out on European football altogether in 2025/26, as they start this round five points adrift of the top six. Hope isn’t all lost though, as they can draw confidence from the fact they are unbeaten in away games against teams who start this weekend in the bottom half of the table (W2, D3). Reaching the DFB-Pokal final with a 3-1 win over RB Leipzig on Wednesday should serve as a further shot in the arm ahead of this clash.[/p]

[p]Players to watch: Bochum striker Myron Boadu seems to grow into games, as 15 of his last 18 goals at club level arrived after half-time. Stuttgart will be hoping Nick Woltemade can get on the scoresheet for the second game running as he’s never lost an away game in which he has netted (W9, D2). [/p]

[p]Hot stat: Bochum have only scored in both halves of two of their 27 Bundesliga games this season, a low for the division.[/p]
