Bologna Venezia prediction 2024-11-30

Bologna vs Venezia prediction: ITALY: Serie A betting tips on match 2024-11-29 19:45.
[p]A second-half collapse from Bologna followed a first-half red card late at Lazio last weekend, but the overall picture remains relatively healthy for the Rossoblù. That 3-0 defeat was just their second loss of the season in Serie A (W4, D6) and only the third time they’ve failed to score in the league this term. If they’re to finish in the European spots for a second successive campaign though, they’ll need to turn more draws into wins.[/p]

[p]The good news for Bologna after their midweek defeat against Lille (2-1) in the UEFA Champions League is that they are unbeaten so far this season in Serie A matches which have directly followed a European outing (W3, D1). Vincenzo Italiano’s men are also one of four teams still yet to lose at home in the division this term (W1, D4), and they haven’t lost consecutive league games since January 2023, so the omens are on their side here.[/p]

[p]Serie A new boys Venezia have found life back in the top-flight difficult to adjust to, and sit bottom of the table having lost nine of their first 13 matches (W2, D2), including their last three. One of only two teams in the division still without an away win, Eusebio Di Francesco’s side have actually scored first in four of their seven league games on the road this season, but haven’t won any of those four (D1, L3).[/p]

[p]Displaying an inability to hold on to a lead, the Lagunari have already been beaten by a single goal six times this term, which is more often than any other club in Italy’s top-flight. Against the narrative here though, Venezia could record a third successive Serie A victory against Bologna for the first time ever, after winning both H2Hs during their previous campaign at the top table in 2021/22.[/p]

[p]Players to watch: Juan Miranda has registered two assists across Bologna’s last three Serie A games, with both coming in the final 15 minutes of normal time. All three of Gaetano Oristanio’s goal involvements this season by contrast (G1, A2) have come in the opening 15 minutes.[/p]

[p]Hot streak: Venezia have only scored 2+ goals in one of their 13 previous away H2Hs with Bologna in Serie A.[/p]
