Bosnia & Herzegovina Germany prediction 2024-10-11

Bosnia & Herzegovina vs Germany prediction: EUROPE: UEFA Nations League – League A betting tips on match 2024-10-10 18:45.
[p]Bosnia & Herzegovina (FIFA rank: #75) have bounced between the top two tiers of the UEFA Nations League (UNL) since the tournament’s inception, and opened this latest campaign in League A with a sobering 5-2 defeat to the Netherlands. A 0-0 draw with Hungary which followed was more encouraging, especially as it brought a welcome end to a seven-match losing streak that saw them concede a whopping 22 goals![/p]

[p]Even playing at home hasn’t helped the Dragons much as they’ve only tasted victory over lowly Liechtenstein in their last five matches on home soil (L4), a run that started with a 2-0 European Championship qualifier defeat to Luxembourg! It might not offer much solace, but they could take inspiration from being unbeaten in home H2Hs against Germany, having drawn both previous meetings, albeit way back in 1999 and 2002.[/p]

[p]A repeat would be seen as a setback for Germany (FIFA rank: #13), who opened this UNL cycle with a 5-0 demolition of Hungary and an entertaining 2-2 draw with the Netherlands. Not quite at full strength following the withdrawals of Kai Havertz, Robin Koch and Jamal Musiala, plus with neither Manuel Neuer nor Marc-André ter Stegen available, one of Oliver Baumann, Janis Blaswich or Alexander Nübel will debut in goal.[/p]

[p]The UNL remains a tournament in which the four-time World Cup winners have never really excelled, as they’re yet to reach the semi-finals, and one reason for that is only winning one UNL away fixture (D5, L3). Interestingly, the last four of those were all score draws, a sequence Julian Nagelsmann’s side are heavy favourites to break given the huge ranking gap between them and their opponents.[/p]

[p]Players to watch: Ermedin Demirović, one of seven Bosnia players plying their trade in Germany, has scored the game’s second goal in two of his last four appearances. His strike partner at club level Deniz Undav has scored six times in his last seven games for club and country, a run that began with Germany’s opener against the Netherlands in September.[/p]

[p]Hot streak: None of Germany’s last eight matches produced a goalless second half (W5, D2, L1).[/p]
