Bournemouth Luton prediction 2023-12-16

Bournemouth vs Luton prediction: ENGLAND: Premier League betting tips on match 2023-12-15 15:00.
[p]The Andoni Iraola revolution at Bournemouth is beginning to well and truly take flight, with the Cherries winning four of their last five matches (D1) in the Premier League (PL). Last weekend’s 3-0 thumping of Manchester United, their first-ever victory at Old Trafford, was described by veteran full-back Adam Smith as the club’s “best” across their PL history, while it also brought the Cherries closer to the top-six rather than the bottom-three.[/p]

[p]That’ll earn them a hero’s welcome then as they return to the Vitality Stadium where they’re also unbeaten in three PL matches (W2, D1), scoring exactly twice in each of those. The last time they had a longer such streak was back in November 2019, and they’re bound to be confident of replicating that against strugglers Luton, although Bournemouth have lost two of the last three H2Hs (W1).[/p]

[p]The Hatters make the journey south four points adrift of safety after suffering a third consecutive PL defeat when they lost to Manchester City on Sunday. Rob Edwards’ side have competed well in most outings since returning to the top-flight, best demonstrated by the fact they’ve suffered one-goal defeats against all of last season’s top-three, including against City whom they led at half time. [/p]

[p]Performances now need to be mirrored by their point haul though, and Luton’s miserable return of four points from eight away matches (W1, D1, L6) is better than only Sheffield United in the PL. A first clean sheet of the campaign would be welcomed by the travelling faithful too, but as they’ve won on just one of their last five visits to Bournemouth, confidence may not be too high (D1, L3).[/p]

[p]Players to watch: Bournemouth’s Marcus Tavernier has directly contributed to four goals in as many appearances for the Cherries (G2, A2), with both assists coming in their famous win over Man Utd. Elijah Adebayo has netted in back-to-back Luton matches, while his only away goal of the campaign earned the Hatters a point against Nottingham Forest in October.[/p]

[p]Hot stat: Luton’s 16 PL matches have produced 49 goals, a whopping 37 of which have arrived in the second half of games.[/p]
