Bournemouth Manchester Utd prediction 2025-04-27

Bournemouth vs Manchester Utd prediction: ENGLAND: Premier League betting tips on match 2025-04-26 13:00.
[p]A return of one win in eight matches (D3, L4) has dented Bournemouth’s hopes of a top-seven finish in the Premier League, but they can just about stay in touch with victory over Manchester United here. The Cherries’ form has recovered by avoiding defeat in three successive matches (W1, D2), including back-to-back clean sheets in their last two outings, and they’ll need to keep that form up as an eighth-place finish could yet be worthy of a European spot.[/p]

[p]The last time Bournemouth managed three successive shutouts in the Premier League was in November 2019, with the third game in that sequence being a 1-0 home win against United. Andoni Iraola’s men have enjoyed this fixture in recent years, earning seven points from the last three Premier League H2Hs (W2, D1), as many as they managed in their first 12 top-flight meetings with the Red Devils (W2, D1, L9).[/p]

[p]Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has interesting selection decisions to make here, with this game their final outing before a season-defining UEFA Europa League semi-final against Athletic Club. His side could certainly do with generating some momentum after they were brought back down to earth by Wolves last week (L 1-0), who became the fifth side to do the double over United this season.[/p]

[p]Bournemouth could be the sixth, which would be the Red Devils’ highest such tally in a top-flight campaign since 1930/31. United have conceded eight times across the last three H2H league meetings, and having lost their last two on the road in the Premier League this season – last suffering three successive away defeats in the competition in 2022 – they’re unlikely to travel in buoyant fashion.[/p]

[p]Players to watch: No player in the Premier League has attempted more shots than Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo’s 116 pre-round, one of which closed the scoring in the reverse fixture (W 3-0). Casemiro has never been on the losing side against Bournemouth (W2, D1), scoring twice in those games, while he also assisted United’s final two goals against Lyon last week.[/p]

[p]Hot stat: Manchester United are one of two sides yet to lose when opening the scoring in the Premier League this season (W6, D4).[/p]
