Brentford Bournemouth prediction 2024-11-09

Brentford vs Bournemouth prediction: ENGLAND: Premier League betting tips on match 2024-11-08 15:00.
[p]It was the same old familiar feeling for Brentford on Monday night against Fulham, as for the fourth time this league season they lost in a game they’d led. This one was probably the worst of the lot though, as two Fulham goals in second-half stoppage time condemned them to a 2-1 defeat, after which boss Thomas Frank admitted he was “burning inside”.[/p]

[p]It’s not all doom and gloom though as the Bees are still eight points clear of the drop zone, and had they not dropped just half of the points they have from winning positions this term, they’d be third in the league! Instead, they’re 12th, but they should feel confident of climbing the table when Bournemouth come to town as they’re unbeaten in seven regular season league H2Hs (W5, D2). [/p]

[p]But this Bournemouth team won’t be worried about history being against them as they’re flying at the moment. The fixture gremlins threw them up a tricky trio of games against three of last season’s top four and they came through them with flying colours (W2, D1), most recently becoming the first team to beat Manchester City in the Premier League in 2024 when the Cherries won 2-1 last weekend. [/p]

[p]Both those wins against City and Arsenal came on home turf, and their away form does remain a bit of a concern. Andoni Iraola’s side have won just one of their five away league games this term (D2, L2), so journeying to the capital may not be ideal, as Bournemouth have won just three of their last 22 Premier League away games against London sides (D3, L16), conceding 2+ goals in 17 of those.[/p]

[p]Players to watch: Brentford goalkeeper Mark Flekken made an incredible ten saves against Fulham on Monday – seven of his ten league appearances this season saw him make at least five saves. He’ll be trying to keep Antoine Semenyo at bay, who has won on six of his last seven scoring appearances but has never won a personal H2H against Brentford. [/p]

[p]Hot stat: Brentford are one of two teams yet to keep a Premier League clean sheet this term. [/p]
