Brighton Everton prediction 2025-01-25

Brighton vs Everton prediction: ENGLAND: Premier League betting tips on match 2025-01-24 15:00.
[p]Brighton have put an eight-game winless Premier League run (D6, L2) behind them, securing back-to-back victories, the most recent of which was a standout 3-1 win away to Manchester United. Both those successes came on the road, so Fabian Hürzeler is now tasked with bringing some of that feel-good factor back to the Amex Stadium where the Seagulls are without a victory in four matches (D3, L1). [/p]

[p]They at least have the psychological advantage of welcoming Everton here, a team they beat comfortably at Goodison Park on the opening day of the season (3-0). That victory has set up the opportunity to do the double over the Toffees for the very first time in what is the 12th league campaign the two have shared. [/p]

[p]Everton will hope they can stop that happening, especially with the confidence acquired by securing their first three points under returning manager David Moyes at home to Tottenham last weekend (3-2). Yet just one win from their last 21 Premier League away games (D8, L12) – beating Ipswich 2-0 in October – does highlight Moyes has his work cut out to halt the Toffees’ ongoing travelling woes.[/p]

[p]And the Scot doesn’t have the best record against Brighton, with just one of his previous ten league meetings with them ending in victory (D5, L4) – his lowest win rate against any side in the competition (10%). It’s worth noting though that one victory was in his last visit to the Amex Stadium as West Ham manager back in August 2023! [/p]

[p]Players to watch: Brighton’s Kaoru Mitoma is chasing a bit of history here, as he could become the first Japanese player to score in three consecutive Premier League appearances. Illiman Ndiaye was back amongst the goals for Everton against Tottenham, extending his unbeaten record when scoring this season (W4, D2). [/p]

[p]Hot stat: No team have scored fewer goals after half-time than Everton (seven) in the Premier League this season.[/p]
