Celta Vigo remain rooted inside the relegation zone after last weekend’s 0-0 draw at Rayo Vallecano, which only served to mount more pressure on manager Rafael BenĂtez. A draw certainly didn’t help their battle to beat the drop, but it was at least a positive result against one of the league’s big-hitters that should give them confidence here. Channelling that belief into a victory would actually see them leapfrog their hosts, however that’s something Granada have failed to do across the past five H2Hs (D3, L2).
Key battle: Celta’s Jonathan Bamba finished the last round with only one LL player having been fouled more often (43). Gerard Gumbau needs to be careful then considering only two LL players have picked up more yellow cards than the Granada man coming into the weekend.
