Czech Republic Armenia prediction 2024-03-26

Czech Republic vs Armenia prediction: WORLD: Friendly International betting tips on match 2024-03-25 19:00.
[p]A 2-1 win in Oslo on Friday made it four games unbeaten (W3, D1) and only one defeat from 11 matches since the start of 2023 (W6, D4) for the Czech Republic ahead of Tuesday’s friendly clash with Armenia in Prague. The result also meant that Ivan Hašek’s tenure as head coach began with a victory after he replaced Jaroslav Šilhavý in January, in spite of Šilhavý overseeing their qualification for an eighth successive European Championship.[/p]

[p]With only one defeat at home since September 2021 (W8, D4), and with three wins out of four (L1) from the four previous H2Hs, Czech fans should be in an optimistic mood ahead of this friendly. But, with only one more scheduled game ahead of this summer’s Euros, Hašek could also use the game to experiment and try out new combinations.[/p]

[p]Armenia failed to qualify for this year’s Euros in what was their 15th unsuccessful attempt out of 15 at reaching the finals of either the World Cup or European Championships. They will travel to Prague in poor form after losing 1-0 to Kosovo in Yerevan on Friday to make it seven games without a win (L5, D2), whilst finding the net just twice across their last four matches (L3, D1).[/p]

[p]Nicknamed the ‘Havakakan’, the visitors have celebrated just one away victory over the last two years (D5, L11) and they make this trip to take on a side who are ranked 54 places above them in the FIFA rankings. It could therefore be another tough evening for head coach Oleksandr Petrakov, who has a win percentage of just 18.2% from 11 games. He should nonetheless be ordering his players to keep going until the final whistle, just as they did in Prague in September 2013 when they won with a 92nd-minute winner in their only previous success over the Czechs.[/p]

[p]Players to watch: Although captain Tomáš Souček failed to make it four successive international goal scoring appearances against Norway, he did assist the first goal to make it two assists from his last three games for club and country. Lucas Zelarayán contributed to four (G3, A1) of Armenia’s nine goals in their Euros qualifiers, including three (G2, A1) in their last away victory.[/p]

[p]Hot stat: Each of Czech Republic’s four wins over Armenia were accompanied by three-goal margins.[/p]
