Czech Republic U21 Germany U21 prediction 2025-06-15

Czech Republic U21 vs Germany U21 prediction: EUROPE: Euro U21 betting tips on match 2025-06-14 19:00.
[p]The Czech Republic fell to a 3-1 defeat against England in their Group B opener, meaning they realistically need a positive result against Germany to have any chance of advancing. A defeat here coupled with an England win in the group’s other game would see them eliminated at the group stage in a fifth successive tournament appearance, and that’s certainly not out of the question given their recent downturn in form.[/p]

[p]The Czechs are winless in their last four internationals (D2, L2), with some of the blame for that being attributed to some limp second-half performances as they conceded after the break in all four. Leaking goals is an issue that has plagued the Czech Republic for a while now as they can boast just two clean sheets from their last ten games, but they should be buoyed by the fact they won a second round group match 2-1 against the Germans in the 2023 edition of this tournament.[/p]

[p]Germany finished bottom of the group in the last edition, but they took the first step on the road to redemption in 2025 by beating Slovenia 3-0 on matchday one. Their 2023 exit at the first hurdle actually ended a run of four successive Euro finals in which they reached at least the last four, but with a 16-match unbeaten run in tow (W13, D3), they seemingly have what it takes to avoid such an ignominy this time around.[/p]

[p]The Germans have historically shaded this H2H contest (W4, D3, L2) and have scored in every single contest against the Czechs. That doesn’t necessarily mean that goals will be in plentiful supply here though, as only two of those meetings saw over 2.5 goals, and both of them came in the Czech Republic’s two victories, with all four Germany wins in that time coming with an accompanying clean sheet. [/p]

[p]Key battle: Daniel Fila has been a shining light across Czech Republic’s winless run, netting three times therein, each before the hour mark. He’ll be trying to stretch that run against Germany goalkeeper Noah Atubolu, who has made exactly three saves in three of his last four appearances for club or country.[/p]

[p]Hot stat: Germany have scored 2+ goals in nine of their last ten internationals. [/p]
