Dyn. Kyiv vs Fenerbahce prediction: EUROPE: Europa League – Group Stage betting tips on match 2022-11-02 20:00.
Dynamo Kyiv manager Mircea Lucescu admits his side have been their own worst enemies as they round off a miserable UEFA Europa League (UEL) campaign. The Ukrainian outfit have picked up just one point from five group-stage matches (D1, L4), a comeback 3-3 draw to AEK Larnaca in their last UEL outing, with the boss blaming “gifts we gave to our opponents” as the reason behind the poor results.

Their dreadful form in the competition stretches back much further than this season though, with Dynamo having won just one of their last 14 UEL outings (D6, L7), with defensive woes seeing them concede at least twice in five of the last seven. Therefore, even victory here will not be enough to earn the Blue & Whites a place in the UEFA Europa Conference League knock-out round, though they’ll be boosted by their first win in five outings (D2, L2) after beating Kryvbas KR 3-1 last time out.

Perhaps Dynamo can draw some inspiration from their winning H2H record against opponents Fenerbahçe then, who’ve won just one of the seven clashes between the two sides (D3, L3). Not that the Turkish side will be overly fussed, considering that victory arrived back on matchday one, by a 2-1 scoreline, a result which has helped them into top spot with 11 points from five games (W3, D2).

Fenerbahçe manager Jorge Jesus has still only lost two games (W14, D6) in all competitions since taking the reins at the Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium in the summer, with his free-scoring side scoring at least twice on 16 occasions! They’re already through to the knock-out stages for the first time since 2018/19, and a further victory here would not only likely seal top spot in Group B, but also see them go through a European group stage unbeaten for the very first time.

Players to watch: Dynamo Kyiv’s top scorer Vitaliy Buyalskyi has eight goals from 19 appearances this season, but has failed to net or win in any of his last seven UEL appearances (D1, L6). Fenerbahçe’s Michy Batshuayi grabbed the winner when these two sides last met and he has been victorious in each of his six goalscoring appearances for his side this term.

Hot stat: Five of Fenerbahçe’s last six games have contained three or more goals.
