Eintracht Frankfurt B. Monchengladbach prediction 2023-04-15

Eintracht Frankfurt vs B. Monchengladbach prediction: GERMANY: Bundesliga betting tips on match 2023-04-14 16:30.
Eintracht Frankfurt had that all too familiar sinking feeling once again last time out as Bayer Leverkusen leapfrogged them into sixth place by inflicting a sixth straight winless Bundesliga game upon them (D3, L3). Even so, the Eagles still have a great chance of picking up some silverware while also securing European qualification via the DFB Pokal, with an exciting semi-final against Stuttgart lurking on the horizon.

Returning to the Deutsche Bank Park can only be seen as a positive for Frankfurt, who are now enduring their longest winless away league run since 2018. Only Napoli have left with a win in competitive action here since the beginning of November 2022 (W6, D3, L1) and they’ll hope to continue that solid form, especially as they have lost just one of their last six home meetings with Borussia Mönchengladbach (W1, D4, L1).

Entering this round 12 points above the bottom-three and eight from the top-six, Gladbach realistically have little to play for other than a top-half finish in the final seven rounds. Even so, Daniel Farke’s Foals ended Wolfsburg’s five-game unbeaten league run with a workmanlike 2-0 victory last time out, in a success that halted their own five-game winless streak.

Playing away from home is unlikely to stimulate further progress if Gladbach’s recent travelling form is anything to go by. Farke’s men have endured the ignominy of conceding 11 consecutive goals without reply in over five hours of play since their 17th minute opener in a humiliating 4-1 defeat at the hands of relegation-threatened Hertha Berlin back in February (D1, L3).

Players to watch: Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani has scored three goals in as many competitive appearances since the international break, adding to his stunning goal contribution tally this season (G19, A12). Trying to outdo him will be fellow Frenchman Alassane Pléa, who has contributed to goals in his last two H2Hs against Frankfurt (G1, A1) despite winning neither game.

Hot stat: A joint league-high 18 games involving Frankfurt (67%) have seen both teams score.
