Eintracht Frankfurt Bayer Leverkusen prediction 2022-10-15

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Bayer Leverkusen prediction: GERMANY: Bundesliga betting tips on match 2022-10-14 13:30.
After suffering his first-ever Bundesliga defeat to a bottom-placed team last weekend with a shocking 3-0 loss to Bochum, Eintracht Frankfurt boss Oliver Glasner followed that up with a disappointing, yet somewhat expected 3-2 defeat away to Spurs in midweek European action. Despite notching back-to-back failures, this still remains the Eagles’ joint-best start to a Bundesliga season in terms of points on the board in six years (W4, D2, L3).

Tellingly, Frankfurt’s latest Bundesliga defeat coincided with the suspension of influential forward Randal Kolo Muani, and his impact simply cannot be understated with Frankfurt going unbeaten in eight of the 11 games that he has started in this season (W5, D3), yet they’ve lost three of four when he didn’t start. He will return for this match and hope to help Frankfurt build on their current four-game winning streak of home H2Hs.

That losing streak at this venue is Bayer Leverkusen’s longest currently active losing run against any Bundesliga opponent on the road, and they’d do well to reverse that form, given they are enduring their worst Bundesliga season start in the three points for a win era, after picking up just eight points so far. Whilst Leverkusen were wasteful in their 3-0 midweek defeat against Porto, Xabi Alonso has etched his name into folklore by recording the biggest debut league win by any boss in the club’s history after he led his new side to a 4-0 victory vs Schalke in the last round.

Recording a first travelling win as boss is next on Alonso’s agenda, and to do that he must stop the rot of six consecutive conceded away goals over three hours of play since Leverkusen’s late equaliser against Hertha back in September. Whatever happens here, the first goal could be crucial as the side scoring first has gone on to win by multi-goal margins in five of Leverkusen’s last six competitive games.

Players to watch: There’s simply no better venue for service than the Deutsche Bank Park this weekend, as Frankfurt’s Kolo Muani leads the way in the Bundesliga for assists (A5) – no player has had more after their first eight Bundesliga appearances since 2006! As for Leverkusen, Moussa Diaby assisted two of their four goals in their recent win vs Schalke, and set up both strikes in their last H2H win!

Hot stat: Ahead of the round, Frankfurt and Leverkusen have conceded a joint league-high four goals apiece in the opening 15 minutes.
