Eintracht Frankfurt Heidenheim prediction 2025-04-13

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Heidenheim prediction: GERMANY: Bundesliga betting tips on match 2025-04-12 15:30.
[p]Eintracht Frankfurt are in for a nail-biting end to the season on two fronts, after their UEFA Europa League quarter-final first leg at Tottenham ended 1-1 in midweek, while their questionable Bundesliga form makes it difficult to predict where they’ll finish. Eintracht will begin the round in third place which they seemed to have made their own, but losing four of their last six Bundesliga games has allowed the chasing pack to catch up (W2). [/p]

[p]Holding onto third spot come the season’s end would represent the Eagles’ best Bundesliga finish since 1992/93, so the visit of Heidenheim presents a good opportunity to tighten their grip as they’ve won all four prior H2Hs. Boss Dino Toppmöller will be keen for defensive improvements though, having seen his side keep just one clean sheet in their last 14 matches, but that did come in their last outing at Deutsche Bank Park, where they’ve lost just three times in 21 matches (W13, D5).[/p]

[p]An uphill task therefore awaits relegation-threatened Heidenheim, who’ll start the round in 16th but have shown clear signs recently that they’re willing to fight to the very end. They were on a three-game unbeaten run and two-game winning streak prior to their last outing against reigning champions Bayer Leverkusen, who needed a 91st-minute goal to walk away from the Voith-Arena with all three points.[/p]

[p]That was FCH’s 18th defeat of this league season, which is a bad omen as no team that has lost 18 of their opening 28 Bundesliga games of a campaign has managed to survive relegation! If December’s reverse fixture is anything to go by, then a 19th loss could be on the way, as Heidenheim suffered their heaviest Bundesliga defeat ever in that game (4-0).[/p]

[p]Players to watch: Hugo Ekitike rounded off the scoring that day and also found the net in midweek – he’s lost just one of his 17 goalscoring appearances this season (W10, D6). Heidenheim’s Jan Schöppner has never lost when scoring (W11, D3), with each of his four strikes this term coming on the road, three of which were in wins.[/p]

[p]Hot stat: Eintracht Frankfurt have seen the same half-time result replicated come full-time in ten of their last 13 matches. [/p]
