Eintracht Frankfurt Holstein Kiel prediction 2025-02-16

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Holstein Kiel prediction: GERMANY: Bundesliga betting tips on match 2025-02-15 16:30.
[p]Currently on course for their first top-four finish in the Bundesliga since 1992/93, Eintracht Frankfurt travel on the back of a six-game unbeaten league run since the turn of the year (W3, D3). The last three matches all frustratingly ended level, yet the Eagles came from behind to avoid defeat to secure what is Dino Toppmöller’s longest unbeaten run of league games since he took charge. [/p]

[p]Playing at home should aid Frankfurt in their quest to extend that streak as they have recorded just one league defeat here all season (W6, D3), while they’ve scored ten times across their two home games against current bottom-four opponents. Getting on the scoresheet therefore shouldn’t be a problem for Frankfurt as they have scored in 20 straight Bundesliga games at any venue, while they host the worst defensive side in the league, Holstein Kiel. [/p]

[p]A painful 2-2 draw against Bochum means that Kiel have now conceded 54 goals after just 21 rounds, which is the second-worst defensive record of any Bundesliga side at this stage of a campaign during this century. Kiel can’t get out of the bottom three in this round as they remain cut adrift from the positions of safety, and even if they could, a four-game winless league run (D2, L2) suggests they wouldn’t be capable anyway. [/p]

[p]Kiel’s perilous position is largely down to the fact that they are yet to win away, meaning they are the first league debutants since 2000/01 to record such a lengthy run (D3, L7). Energie Cottbus in 2000/01 achieved victory at the 11th attempt, so another failure will see the Storks set an unwanted Bundesliga record. Such an outcome seems likely too, as Kiel have conceded at least twice in each of their away league games.[/p]

[p]Players to watch: Frankfurt are unbeaten in each of the last 11 league games when Hugo Ekitiké has found the net (W6, D5), with only Harry Kane scoring more than his five goals in 2025. Trying to stop him will be the likes of Kiel defender and captain Timo Becker, who has also impressively provided three assists across his last three away appearances. [/p]

[p]Hot stat: Frankfurt have not lost any of their last 13 league games against newly-promoted opposition (W10, D3). [/p]
