Eintracht Frankfurt Stuttgart prediction 2023-11-25

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Stuttgart prediction: GERMANY: Bundesliga betting tips on match 2023-11-24 17:30.
A return of just one loss from their opening 11 Bundesliga matches this season (W4, D6) sees Eintracht Frankfurt return from November’s international break with their eyes firmly on the Champions League qualification spots. They start this latest round in seventh spot, but another victory here coupled with other Bundesliga results going their way could see them rise to as high as fifth. That was where the Eagles finished back in 2020/21 before going on to win the Europa League in the following season, so the signs are certainly positive.

For the visit of high-flying Stuttgart, Eintracht will once again be reliant on their fantastic home form which sees them unbeaten in eight competitive outings at Deutsche Bank Park this season (W5, D3). It’s a solid foundation upon which to put an end to three consecutive 1-1 draws at home to Stuttgart, each of which saw the teams trade goals after half-time.

Few would have predicted Stuttgart to be higher-placed than Frankfurt at this stage of the season given they had to survive last season’s promotion-relegation playoff, but after an impressive start they’re well placed to become the first visiting team to take three points home from Eintracht. Their campaign hit a minor bump with consecutive league defeats to Hoffenheim and Heidenheim in the absence of star striker Serhou Guirassy, but his return from injury brought with it another goal and victory against Dortmund (2-1) to take them into the international break in winning form.

As two of their three league losses this season have come on the road, some improvement is still needed away from home. It could prove tough to manage based on recent history, as two H2H away losses preceded the aforementioned trio of 1-1 draws, whilst they failed to keep a clean sheet in each of their last nine away H2Hs.

Players to watch: Omar Marmoush has been in fantastic form so far this season for Eintracht, netting ten goals across all competitions, whilst he also scored twice in his two personal H2Hs last season. Guirassy’s goal for Stuttgart against Dortmund was his 15th goal across nine league matches, nine of which came after half-time.

Hot stat: Each of the last seven competitive H2Hs saw both teams score.
