Estonia Israel prediction 2025-06-06

Estonia vs Israel prediction: EUROPE: World Championship – Qualification betting tips on match 2025-06-05 18:45.
[p]Estonia recovered from a 2-1 defeat in the reverse fixture against Israel in their World Cup qualifying (WCQ) opener by beating Moldova 3-2 later in March. They now have the chance to avenge that loss and claim all three points on home soil in Tallinn, which would also mark their first pair of back-to-back wins inside 90 minutes since September 2022.[/p]

[p]The Baltic nation have never reached a World Cup finals, but have already matched their measly one victory from the previous cycle. If they are to reach their first-ever major tournament then another win surely must follow here as Estonia’s next two matches are against higher-ranked Norway and Italy.[/p]

[p]Visiting Israel will fancy their chances of not only bouncing back from a 4-2 loss to Norway in their last WCQ outing, but of also making it five wins in as many H2Hs against Estonia. Against the backdrop of conflict in their own country, Israel are playing all their internationals on foreign soil, but having won just one of their last five games as the designated away side (D1, L3), this trip is likely to have them feeling a little shakier than usual.[/p]

[p]That sole draw came against France, and that was the only time Israel have failed to score across their last nine matches (W3, D1, L5). Consistent returns up front could help them on their way to a first World Cup finals appearance since 1970, but a leaky defence could undermine their efforts, especially as their last five WCQ away games have produced 4+ total goals (W2, L3). [/p]

[p]Players to watch: Rauno Sappinen scored Estonia’s second goal in Moldova earlier this year, while he has netted five times in his last eight club appearances, with four of those strikes arriving before half-time. Dor Turgeman’s last goal for Israel was in a loss to Norway, but his three goals for Maccabi Tel Aviv since then have come in wins by multiple-goal margins. [/p]

[p]Hot stat: Estonia have picked up the first yellow card in six of their last seven matches. [/p]
