FCSB Bologna prediction 2025-10-23

FCSB vs Bologna prediction: EUROPE: Europa League – League phase betting tips on match 2025-10-22 16:45.
[p]FCSB and Bologna are separated by only three places in the UEFA Europa League (UEL) as they prepare to meet in Bucharest on Thursday.[/p]

[p]Match News and Current Form[/p]

[p]FCSB have won three and lost three of their last six games in all competitions and were beaten 2-1 away at Metaloglobus București in their last match on Saturday. The Red and Blues also lost their last UEL fixture, but that is their only defeat in their last four encounters (W3) at the Arena Națională. Elias Charalambous’ side already have three points on the board in the UEL though following a 1-0 victory at Go Ahead Eagles on matchday one, but their 2-0 home defeat to Young Boys on matchday two means they’ve now lost the last three of the last four main-draw UEL games they’ve hosted.[/p]

[p]After a 1-0 defeat at Aston Villa and a 1-1 draw at home to Freiburg, Bologna are one of 12 sides still looking for their first win in this season’s UEL. They will also bring a poor recent away record in European football to Romania, having failed to record a victory on any of their last seven continental trips (D2, L5) across this competition, its predecessor (the UEFA Cup) and last season’s UEFA Champions League. It is not all bad news for Vincenzo Italiano’s men though, as they are unbeaten in each of their last four games in all competitions (W2, D2), winning their last two without conceding.[/p]

[p]Head-to-Head History[/p]

[p]This will be the first meeting between the sides, although FCSB have played Italian teams in 15 previous major European games, with their solitary victory coming against Lazio in February 2018 (D5, L9). Bologna faced Progresul București in the 1998 UEFA Intertoto Cup, winning 2-0 at home before losing 3-1 away.[/p]

[p]Hot Stats and Streaks[/p]

[p]Only one team has scored in FCSB’s last six home matches (W3, L3).[/p]

[p]Just one of FCSB’s last 12 UEL home games has ended in a draw (W7, L4).[/p]

[p]Bologna haven’t conceded a first-half goal in their last three matches in all competitions.[/p]

[p]Bologna have scored in both halves of their last two away fixtures, having failed to find the net at all in their previous three games on the road.Ā [/p]

[p]Key Players to Watch and Missing Players[/p]

[p]Florin Tănase has scored in three of FCSB’s last four matches, with all the goals coming from penalties. Emil Holm has impressed in his last two away games for Bologna, contributing to a goal in each (G1, A1).[/p]

[p]Vlad Chiricheș is expected to miss out for FCSB, while Ciro Immobile is getting closer to a return for Bologna but is unlikely to be risked here.[/p]
