Freiburg B. Monchengladbach prediction 2024-11-30

Freiburg vs B. Monchengladbach prediction: GERMANY: Bundesliga betting tips on match 2024-11-29 14:30.
[p]Dominated in just about every aspect by the full-time whistle, Freiburg fell to a third consecutive game without scoring after being hammered 4-0 by Dortmund in the previous round. That’s unsurprisingly Freiburg’s longest wait to score a Bundesliga goal since a four-game run back in 2018, though despite their shortcomings up top, Freiburg remain in a tussle on the edge of the European places along with opponents Borussia Mönchengladbach.[/p]

[p]Despite their recent struggles, Freiburg have been largely solid in home league action so far (W3, D1, L1), achieving what is their joint-strongest home start since 2021/22 despite keeping just one clean sheet along the way. Julian Schuster’s men will be looking to prolong that record considering they’ve not lost at home to Gladbach since both sides played in the second-tier in 2007 (W9, D5 since). [/p]

[p]Travelling here above their hosts by virtue of goal difference, Gerardo Seoane’s Gladbach arrive on the back of a five-game unbeaten run of league games, their longest under the current manager (W3, D2). Extending that run to six may not be so easy for the Foals, who have picked up 12 of their 17 points at home (W4, L2), winning just once on their league travels so far this season (W1, D2, L2). [/p]

[p]Poor away form is not just a trend from this season, as Gladbach have won just twice on their Bundesliga travels since the beginning of October 2023 (W2, D7, L10). Scoring in eight of the last 11 trips, the visitors can certainly play their part in what could be an entertaining affair, but with the pre-match favourite going unbeaten in all of Gladbach’s league games this season, they may be in for another frustrating afternoon (pre-match fav: W8, D2). [/p]

[p]Players to watch: Ritsu Dōan has scored decisively with three of his four Freiburg goals this season, and he also netted the final goal in a 3-0 win over Gladbach last season. For the visitors, Tim Kleindienst will hope to score against Freiburg for a second straight season after hitting the team opener in all three of his scoring away appearances since moving to Gladbach. [/p]

[p]Hot streak: Freburg have never put together a longer run of top-flight unbeaten home H2Hs than their ongoing 16-game sequence against Gladbach (W10, D6). [/p]
