Frosinone Salernitana prediction 2024-04-26

Frosinone vs Salernitana prediction: ITALY: Serie A betting tips on match 2024-04-25 18:45.
[p]A credible 0-0 draw against European hopefuls Torino saw Frosinone register their fourth consecutive stalemate in their hunt for Serie A survival this campaign, and with three of those results coming against top-half sides, they seem to be heading in the right direction. That said, a win is now very much needed to end the hosts’ run of 12 consecutive matches without victory (D6, L6) since their last win over Cagliari back in January.[/p]

[p]Still trapped in the bottom three ahead of this matchday, Eusebio Di Francesco’s side return home desperately looking for success. They most recently held high-flying Bologna to a goalless draw at this venue, but having endured five winless outings in succession at Stadio Benito Stirpe (D2, L3), the Ciociari can at least look to their excellent home record against teams starting this round 12th or worse for some much-needed inspiration (W5, D1). [/p]

[p]Rock-bottom Salernitana suffered their 22nd defeat from their 33 league matches at the weekend as they fell 2-0 to Fiorentina, a result that leaves them with a 13-point deficit on their opponents and realistically only pride to play for across their remaining five matches of the season. With only 15 points to their name, the visitors will hope to at least avoid breaking Chievo’s unwanted record of the fewest points in a Serie A season in the three points for a win era (17). [/p]

[p]It’s hard to imagine them succeeding here as they’ve lost four of their last five away matches (D1), whilst conceding four goals in three of those games. Salernitana have also been slow out of the blocks during that time, as they’ve found themselves trailing by at least two goals at half-time in all four of those recent defeats. [/p]

[p]Players to watch: Luca Mazzitelli has scored all five of his Serie A goals for Frosinone this term beyond the hour mark, with four of them arriving at home, whilst Salernitana’s Loum Tchaouna has scored each of his three goals for the club on the road, with two arriving in the opening 20 minutes.[/p]

[p]Hot stat: Salernitana are the only Serie A team yet to score beyond the hour mark on their travels this term. [/p]
