Germany U21 Slovenia U21 prediction 2025-06-12

Germany U21 vs Slovenia U21 prediction: EUROPE: Euro U21 betting tips on match 2025-06-11 19:00.
[p]Germany qualified for the Euro U21 finals for the seventh time running and will be desperate to continue their habit of winning every second edition of the tournament after victory in 2017 and 2021 to make it four such titles, behind only Spain and Italy with five. Germany coach Antoni Di Salvo can rely on a squad with some experienced Bundesliga players, sounding them out as one of the pre-tournament favorites.[/p]

[p]Having failed to make it through the group stage in the latest edition as title holders after making it to at least the semi-final stage in the four prior, the DFB team are on a run of five opening games at the finals without defeat (W3, D2). Germany are currently unbeaten in 15 games overall since June 2023 (W12, D3), but they lost an unofficial 4×30 minutes game against Finland last week in their last test before heading off to the Euros.[/p]

[p]Winless in their last four internationals (D3, L1), Slovenia are the underdogs in a tough Group B, which also features Czech Republic and England. Head coach Andrej Razdrh leads the country to their second Euro finals after qualifying automatically in 2021 as the hosts, when they finished bottom of their group (D1, L2).[/p]

[p]The central Europeans surprised in qualification by winning their group ahead of France (W5, D2, L1) and are subsequently on a run of just one defeat in their last ten internationals (W4, D5). After claiming a creditable draw the last time these two sides played back in 2020, Slovenia could well put up a decent fight in their group opener as they go in search of their first-ever win at a finals. [/p]

[p]Players to watch: After 12 goals in 28 Bundesliga games for Stuttgart, Nick Woltemade made his senior debut appearance in the UEFA Nations League semi-final between Germany and Portugal, but failed to score during a 2-1 loss. With six qualifier goals, Tio Cipot was the top scorer for Slovenia, while he also scored seven Austrian Bundesliga goals for Grazer AK last season.[/p]

[p]Hot stat: Six of the last seven games involving Germany saw at least three match goals. [/p]
