Getafe Betis prediction 2025-02-23

Getafe vs Betis prediction: SPAIN: LaLiga betting tips on match 2025-02-22 17:30.
[p]Without a league defeat since the turn of the year (W4, D2), and enjoying their longest unbeaten run in La Liga since November 2023, Getafe will be looking to continue their upward trajectory this weekend. Beginning the matchday in 13th place, but only five points from the European positions, a campaign which has seen José Bordalás’ men do plenty of flirting with the relegation places could yet turn into a very positive one.[/p]

[p]If they are to start pushing for a top-six place, then improving their recent top-flight record against Real Betis this Sunday would be useful. Getafe have won just one of their last eight La Liga H2Hs against Los Verdiblancos (D3, L4), while Bordalás is on an equally poor run, picking up a solitary victory in his last eight meetings with them after winning four of his previous five! [/p]

[p]Sitting in the opposing dugout, Manuel Pellegrini has generally enjoyed facing Getafe, losing only four of his 26 La Liga games against them (W16, D6), and he brings his side to the Coliseum after two wins in their last four away matches in the league (L2), an improvement on their previous ten encounters on the road in the competition (W1, D5, L4)![/p]

[p]Recent trips to the wider Madrid community have not been overly successful for Betis though, as they have not picked up three points on any of their last six visits (D2, L4), failing to even score in the last three. But after beating Real Sociedad 3-0 last Sunday, Pellegrini’s side have the opportunity to record back-to-back league victories for only the third time this season and the first time since October. [/p]

[p]Players to watch: Getafe left-back Diego Rico has provided an assist and been booked in two of the last three H2Hs. After joining on loan from Manchester United in January, Antony has made an excellent start to his Betis career and became only the second player since the 2013/14 campaign to score in three of his first four games for the club.[/p]

[p]Hot stat: There have been three goals or fewer in each of the last 14 H2Hs.[/p]
