Getafe Osasuna prediction 2024-10-05

Getafe vs Osasuna prediction: SPAIN: LaLiga betting tips on match 2024-10-04 14:15.
[p]Getafe head into matchday nine sitting just three places and two points above La Liga’s relegation zone, courtesy of their first win of the season last Saturday when they beat Alavés 2-0. Now it’s a chance for Los Azulones to claim back-to-back victories for the first time since last December, but they will need to overcome Osasuna in order to achieve that goal. [/p]

[p]If their home H2H record is anything to go by, Getafe should be feeling incredibly confident, as they’ve won the last four such matches, but if they fail to win this weekend at Estadio Coliseum, they will have made only four worse starts to a top-flight campaign (in terms of points) after nine rounds since the turn of the century. They avoided relegation on all four occasions, proving that it’s too early to panic regardless. [/p]

[p]Osasuna are on cloud nine after stunning Barcelona 4-2 to both end the Catalans’ perfect start to the league season and lift themselves up to seventh in the table. It’s worth expecting entertainment once again on Saturday, as five of the last six matches involving the Pamplona outfit have seen at least three total goals scored, while recent H2Hs have also been entertaining. [/p]

[p]Although Osasuna have won just one of their last ten meetings with Getafe (D4, L5), that solitary victory was in their last H2H in January (3-2). If Los Rojillos do go 1-0 down here, recent history suggests they’re unlikely to complete a comeback as the last time they won any competitive game from that position was in April 2023 against Elche (2-1 – D4, L24 since). [/p]

[p]Players to watch: Luis Milla has more minutes under his belt than any other Getafe outfield player this season and capped off last weekend’s win over Alavés by scoring a rare goal and being named Flashscore’s Player of the Match. Meanwhile, Bryan Zaragoza was hugely influential in Osasuna’s fine first-half display against Barcelona, registering a goal and an assist before the break, while his last 11 scoring appearances have been in games where the team he was playing for netted at least twice (W8, D2, L1). [/p]

[p]Hot stat: Osasuna received a first-half booking in only one of their eight matches so far this term. [/p]
