HJK Aberdeen prediction 2023-11-30

HJK vs Aberdeen prediction: EUROPE: Europa Conference League – Group Stage betting tips on match 2023-11-29 17:45.
Neither HJK nor Aberdeen can progress any further in the UEFA Europa Conference League (UECL), but both will want to avoid finishing bottom of Group G, with the hosts currently occupying that position (D1, L3). Their only point so far came against Aberdeen in October (D 1-1), but since then they’ve lost their last four matches in all competitions, although they still managed to win the Finnish title for the fourth time in a row – on goal difference!

The 32-time Finnish champions lost both UECL home group games this season by a one-goal margin, so will expect to be competitive as they try to give their fans something to remember this continental campaign by. They’re also seeking a second win over Scottish opponents (D1, L3) but reaching that milestone won’t be easy as they haven’t won a European group game at home since 2021/22.

Having just drawn 1-1 with Rangers and losing just one of their last five competitive games (W2, D2), Aberdeen will be hoping to move further ahead of their hosts and salvage something from their disappointing UECL campaign (D2, L2). Dons manager Barry Robson was full of praise for his side after they were denied all three points by a controversial late penalty against Rangers, stating he thought his side “did everything right”.

Not much has gone right in Europe this term though, leaving them wondering what might have been given both defeats came via a single-goal margin, the latest of those via an injury-time penalty against PAOK (L 3-2). As they prepare to play a European away game in Finland for just the second time, a repeat of their 2019/20 UEFA Europa League qualifying 2-1 success over RoPS might ease the pain somewhat.

Players to watch: Bojan Radulović scored second-half goals in three of HJK’s last six games, including the 1-1 H2H draw at Pittodrie, while Aberdeen’s Bojan Miovski has netted in three of their last seven fixtures, twice after half-time.

Hot stat: Aberdeen have won just one corner across their last four matches (W1, D2, L1).
