Juventus Wydad prediction 2025-06-22

Juventus vs Wydad prediction: WORLD: FIFA Club World Cup betting tips on match 2025-06-21 16:00.
[p]Juventus will be looking to build on their 5-0 thrashing of Al Ain by claiming victory over Wydad AC, who know that defeat in Philadelphia will more than likely see them exit the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup (CWC).[/p]

[p]Match News and Current Form[/p]

[p]Juve’s win over Al Ain was the biggest in the CWC’s history by an Italian club, with the damage done before half-time as they scored four of their five goals in the opening 45 minutes. It could not have been a better competition debut for the Old Lady, who will now reach the last 16 with victory here providing Man City avoid defeat against Al Ain. The Italian giants should at least feel confident of holding their end of the bargain up having won their last three matches, marking the first time they’ve strung three successive victories together since February. [/p]

[p]Wydad are still awaiting their first-ever CWC win having previously participated in the competition in 2017 and 2022, with Wednesday’s meeting with Man City seeing them fall to a modest 2-0 scoreline. The Moroccan outfit have now lost back-to-back games without scoring for the first time since October 2024, something they will need to address if they are to still have a realistic chance of reaching the last 16 on matchday three. Their elimination could be confirmed here though if they’re beaten and Man City avoid defeat against Al Ain in the other matchday-two Group G encounter.[/p]

[p]Head-to-Head History[/p]

[p]These teams have never previously met in competitive action, with Wydad’s only ever competitive game against European opposition before this being that 2-0 loss to Man City. [/p]

[p]Hot Stats and Streaks[/p]

[p] [/p]

[p]Only three of Juventus’ last ten games saw over 2.5 goals.[/p]

[p]Juventus haven’t registered consecutive clean-sheet victories since last August. [/p]

[p]The opening goal in each of Wydad’s last four competitive games has come inside 15 minutes.[/p]

[p]The winners of Wydad’s last six competitive matches have scored exactly twice. [/p]

[p]Key Players to Watch and Missing Players[/p]

[p]After a 13-game goal drought for club and country, Randal Kolo Muani has scored six times in his last eight matches, including twice before half-time against Al Ain. At the other end of the pitch, Cassius Mailula will be looking to make an impact, having registered three goal involvements in his last four encounters for Wydad (G2, A1).[/p]

[p]Among Juve’s CWC squad, Bremer and Arkadiusz Milik are the two regular appearance-makers still recovering from major injuries. Ayoub Boucheta is the only regular starter who Wydad may not be able to call upon here.[/p]

[p]Betting Analysis[/p]

[p]Given that Juve’s last seven matches have each featured at least three bookings, betting on over 2.5 cards seems sensible. [/p]
