Lazio Bologna prediction 2024-11-24

Lazio vs Bologna prediction: ITALY: Serie A betting tips on match 2024-11-23 19:45.
[p]Lazio will be eyeing up the Serie A summit when they go in search of their seventh successive home win across all competitions this weekend. Marco Baroni’s side have won six of their last seven in the league, which sees them begin this gameweek in fifth place but only one point behind Napoli at the top of the table.[/p]

[p]However, their last four league wins have all been against sides who begin this round of fixtures in the bottom six whereas Bologna, who are the visitors on Sunday, went into the international break in eighth place and could well provide Lazio with their strongest test since they were beaten by Juventus in round eight.[/p]

[p]Unbeaten in the league since late August (W4, D5), and having won their last three Serie A games, Bologna also find themselves on a fine run of form. In their final match ahead of the international break they beat Roma 3-2 at the Stadio Olimpico, so will have excellent recent memories to fall back on when they return to the venue for this fixture.[/p]

[p]That also includes a 2-1 away win in this fixture in February, which meant that Bologna did the H2H double last season and will now be targeting a third straight league victory against Lazio – something they last achieved in 1980! And although Vincenzo Italiano’s side begin this match seven points behind their hosts, they shouldn’t be worried, as 11 of their 15 league goals so far this season have come across their last five away games. [/p]

[p]Players to watch: Three of Boulaye Dia’s four goals in the league this season have come at the Stadio Olimpico and Lazio are yet to lose a game across all competitions when the striker has found the net (W5, D1). Bologna’s Riccardo Orsolini has scored the first goal of the match the most times in this Serie A season ahead of the round, with four of his five league goals opening the scoring.[/p]

[p]Hot stat: Lazio have trailed at half-time in only one of their last 17 home league games.[/p]
