Lazio FC Porto prediction 2024-11-07

Lazio vs FC Porto prediction: EUROPE: Europa League – League phase betting tips on match 2024-11-06 20:00.
[p]It has been a perfect start to the new UEFA Europa League (UEL) campaign for Lazio who have won each of their three matches by a 2+ goal margin and subsequently start this round top of the standings. Their last UEL victory came away to Twente (2-0), which saw Lazio open the scoring and lead at half-time for a third consecutive match in this tournament.[/p]

[p]Their home form is similarly impressive, as following Monday night’s 2-1 Serie A victory over Cagliari, Lazio have won each of their last five competitive matches on home soil, taking their unbeaten streak across all competitive home games to 13 (W11, D2). The Biancocelesti have also won each of their last four European matches here, including a 1-0 triumph over Bayern earlier this year and their only UEL home outing this term so far against Nice (4-1).[/p]

[p]Following an underwhelming two-game start to their UEL campaign (D1, L1), Porto celebrated their first victory of the league phase by beating Hoffenheim 2-0 in their last outing. It formed part of their current six-game winning streak in all competitions, with each of the last five being accompanied by a clean sheet, including Sunday’s 4-0 victory against Estoril.[/p]

[p]Similarly to their hosts, Porto like to fly out of the traps and have been leading ‘to nil’ at half-time in each of their last six matches. They may encounter a slight problem here in the fact they have to travel, as they have won just one of their last 12 away games against Italian opposition (D4, L7), although that sole win did come at the Stadio Olimpico back in October 2016 against Roma. [/p]

[p]Players to watch: Lazio veteran Pedro has contributed to four UEL goals this season (G2, A2), with both of his goals coming before half-time. Seven of Samu Omorodion’s eight goals scored across his last five competitive outings for club and country arrived before the break, with the only exception being his UEL strike against Hoffenheim.[/p]

[p]Hot stat: Lazio have scored six goals inside the opening 35 minutes in their three UEL matches so far.[/p]
