Lazio Torino prediction 2025-03-31

Lazio vs Torino prediction: ITALY: Serie A betting tips on match 2025-03-30 18:45.
[p]After reaching the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa League for the first time since 2017/18, Lazio suffered a huge 5-0 defeat at the hands of top-four rivals Bologna in their last Serie A match ahead of the international break. The Biancocelesti consequently enter the round in sixth place, two points behind the UEFA Champions League qualification places, with that thrashing the latest unwanted result in a run of only one win across their last five league games (D3, L1).[/p]

[p]Starting with another staggering defeat back in December (6-0 against Inter Milan), Lazio have won just once in their last seven Serie A home matches (D4, L2), with that sole win coming against rock-bottom Monza last month. Leaking goals has largely been behind their demise, as they have only kept two league clean sheets all season at the Stadio Olimpico, conceding in each of their last ten home outings in all competitions.[/p]

[p]A 1-0 victory over Empoli in their last Serie A game saw Torino stretch their current positive  sequence of results to only one defeat in their last 12 encounters (W4, D7). Their late-season run for a top-half finish is gathering momentum, as they enter this round just two points behind tenth place. That largely owes to the fact that they have scored in each of their last ten matches, albeit only seven sides in the division have netted fewer than their 34 goals this term going into the weekend. [/p]

[p]When away from home, Torino are tough to beat, as they have lost just once in their last eight games on the road (W2, D5), although they are yet to win such an outing against a pre-round top-half opponent this season (D4, L4). The Granata will perhaps hold some hope of ending that run here having only tasted defeat in one of the last four away H2Hs (W1, D2), keeping two clean sheets in the process.[/p]

[p]Players to watch: Boulaye Dia has scored six of his nine goals for Lazio this season before half-time and also found the net in the reverse fixture (W 3-2). Nikola Vlašić grabbed a second-half winner for Torino against Empoli, which was the fifth of his last seven club goals to arrive after the break.[/p]

[p]Hot stat: A Serie A-high 21 of Lazio’s matches this season have seen over 2.5 goals.[/p]
