Le Havre Monaco prediction 2023-11-11

Le Havre vs Monaco prediction: FRANCE: Ligue 1 betting tips on match 2023-11-10 20:00.
High-flying Le Havre are enjoying life back in Ligue 1 for the first time since 2008/09, as a recent three-game unbeaten streak (W1, D2) culminating in a 2-1 win over Toulouse has lifted them to seventh in the table. Such has been their fine start, that continuing their unbeaten run here against Monaco would see Luka Elsner’s side unexpectedly break into the European places, even if just for a matter of hours.

It’ll be the first time these sides have clashed in over a decade, with the home side probably needing the hiatus given they were winless in all but two of the last 17 H2Hs (D3, L12). The Dean Club and their loyal Stade Océane fans will welcome all challengers though, seeing as Le Havre have suffered only three defeats in their last 24 home matches (W13, D8).

Monaco have their own Ligue 1 aspirations to fight for, as they start the weekend in third place, hot on the tails of the early pace setters, Nice and PSG. Both of those teams play before Adi Hütter’s men this weekend, meaning Monaco will know exactly what rewards they could reap should they pull off the victory.

The Red and Whites’ meteoric rise up the standings is thanks to winning four of their last five matches (L1), where they’ve scored two or more goals in each of those victories. Their undefeated start on the road this season was brought to an end when going down 2-0 away to Lille in their last away clash, but notably they have only lost back-to-back Ligue 1 matches on their travels twice since January 2021.

Players to watch: Mohamed Bayo was Le Havre’s hero when scoring the two late goals against Toulouse, something that’s becoming a habit since six of his last eight strikes have come after half-time. Aleksandr Golovin has been equally heroic for Monaco having been involved in each of their last four goals (G3, A1), with those efforts extending his unbeaten streak when scoring for his club to 23 games (W21, D2).

Hot stat: Monaco have rescued a league-high 11 points when falling behind this season.
