Mallorca vs Osasuna prediction: SPAIN: LaLiga betting tips on match 2025-02-09 20:00.
[p]After making an impressive start to their La Liga campaign, Mallorca’s dire run of form has seen them lose their last five games in all competitions whilst failing to score. The Pirates sat as high as sixth in the league just last month, but have seen their form take a drastic nosedive since and they’re now at risk of losing four straight La Liga games for the first time since April 2022![/p]
[p]The visit of Osasuna potentially offers some respite as Mallorca have suffered just one defeat from their last 11 home H2Hs in LaLiga (W5, D5). This game perhaps won’t be as cut-and-dry as that record suggests though, as it’s hard to predict what Mallorca side will turn up in home league action, with their last six such games all producing a different result from the one prior (W2, D1, L3) – a streak they will want to see continues as they lost their last game at Estadi Mallorca Son Moix. [/p]
[p]Osasuna will be hoping they’ve turned a corner, with their 2-1 win over Real Sociedad in their last league outing ending their worst winless run in league action (D6, L3) since early 2022. In spite of that negative run, they are still within touching distance of the European places, and along with their opponents here sit just two points off the top six ahead of the round. [/p]
[p]That race for Europe will now be their only focus after losing out 2-0 in the Copa del Rey to the same Real Sociedad team in the week. But despite what’s at stake, we perhaps shouldn’t expect too much goalscoring action with only Espanyol (5) scoring fewer away La Liga goals than Osasuna’s six, and only bottom-placed Valladolid (7) having scored fewer league home goals at home in La Liga than the hosting Mallorca (9) ahead of the round![/p]
[p]Players to watch: After scoring Mallorca’s last three La Liga goals, Cyle Larin could become the first player to strike four consecutive top-flight goals for the club since Tomer Hemed in 2011! Osasuna’s RubĂ©n GarcĂa scored the winner in the reverse fixture while his last four La Liga goals arrived after half-time.[/p]
[p]Hot stat: No side has scored fewer than Osasuna’s two La Liga goals after the 75th minute this term.[/p]
