Napoli Torino prediction 2025-04-27

Napoli vs Torino prediction: ITALY: Serie A betting tips on match 2025-04-26 18:45.
[p]After drawing level with Inter Milan at the Serie A summit in the previous round, Antonio Conte’s Napoli now seek a third straight league win for the first time since January in order to keep the pressure on their rivals. Although the visit of Torino looks like a potential banana skin on paper, Napoli have picked up at least six more points against top-half sides than anyone else ahead of the round (W9, D6, L2). Ā Ā [/p]

[p]Conte’s unbeaten managerial record against Torino (W8, D2) should only serve to reinforce the belief gained by a run of 12 consecutive unbeaten home H2Hs stretching back to 2009 (W7, D5). Current form hints that it’s hard to see either of those runs ending here, as Napoli are unbeaten in eight home league games (W6, D2) despite keeping just one clean sheet across the last six.[/p]

[p]Motivation to end that run could be limited for Torino as the tenth-placed side are marooned in mid-table, unable to reach either the top six or fall to the relegation zone in the final five rounds. Ending the season on a high seems to be their only real goal, and they do at least travel here on the back of some fine form over the previous eight rounds (W4, D3, L1).[/p]

[p]They could still play a huge part in deciding who wins the title though. Torino have excelled against top-two opponents of late, securing as many wins in their last three league games against such sides (W2, L1) as they did in 33 such games prior (D9, L22). Inter Milan fans hoping for a favour may have to temper their expectations a little given Torino have only won one of their away league games (D7, L5) this term against sides starting this round outside of the bottom three.Ā [/p]

[p]Players to watch: Two in-form Scottish internationals come face-to-face here. Napoli’s Scott McTominay found the net three times in his last two appearances and also scored the only goal in the reverse fixture, while international teammate ChĆ© Adams scored for Torino last weekend, meaning three of his last five scoring appearances saw him net the match opener.Ā [/p]

[p]Hot stat: Napoli have picked up a pre-round Serie A-high 1.4 points per game when conceding first this season (W4, D2, L4).Ā [/p]
