Nice vs Le Havre prediction: FRANCE: Ligue 1 betting tips on match 2024-12-06 18:00.
[p]Clearly enraged by a 4-1 defeat to Lyon last week, Nice took their anger out on the officials in a strongly worded statement  criticising “a multitude of decisions” that went against them. Franck Haise’s men dropped out of the top-five thanks to a first defeat in Ligue 1 since mid-September, while that also marked a second consecutive 4-1 loss after being hammered by Rangers in the UEFA Europa League last week.[/p]
[p]It’s their first set of back-to-back defeats since March, when they rather ominously went onto lose a third game on the spin! It’s at the back where Franck Haise’s men are clearly struggling, as they’ve conceded 16 times in just 13 top-flight outings – it took 24 league matches for them to be breached on that many occasions last season.[/p]
[p]Looking to pile on the misery will be a Le Havre side who badly need a win themselves, given they make the long trip to the French Riviera sitting in the Ligue 1 relegation zone. The Dean Club have found a bit of form of late though, with two of their four league victories this season coming across their last four outings (L2).[/p]
[p]That said, their most recent result was a damaging 1-0 defeat to fellow strugglers Angers, which means they slipped back into the bottom-three. Manager Didier Digard admitted his side were “incredibly poor technically” in that game, but he can perhaps be confident of an improvement in this fixture, as Le Havre have only lost one of their last 18 league meetings with Nice (W12, D5), although that came in last season’s corresponding fixture (1-0).[/p]
[p]Players to watch: It might well be a good omen for Nice if youngster Mohamed-Ali Cho gets on the scoresheet, as he has only lost two of the 11 games in which he has netted (W7, D2). The somewhat more experienced André Ayew could be Le Havre’s main goal threat, and he has a decent record in H2Hs, bagging five goals in his last ten meetings with Nice (W5, D2, L3).[/p]
[p]Hot stat: Only one of Le Havre’s six away games this term has seen both teams score, a low for Ligue 1.[/p]
