Nottingham Bournemouth prediction 2023-12-23

Nottingham vs Bournemouth prediction: ENGLAND: Premier League betting tips on match 2023-12-22 15:00.
[p]There will be a charged atmosphere at the City Ground after Nottingham Forest sacked Steve Cooper earlier this week, much to the disappointment of many fans. With the club sitting one place and five points above the Premier League (PL) relegation zone having won none of their last six league matches (D1, L5), Cooper’s time finally ran out and the board quickly moved to appoint Nuno Espírito Santo as his successor.[/p]

[p]The former Wolves and Tottenham manager is therefore able to start with this game against Bournemouth, which he might relish given his unbeaten managerial record against them (W3, D1). As Forest’s survival in the top-flight last term was built around their home form, three straight home PL defeats were too many for the board to ignore but there could be more trouble ahead as they’ve won none of the last three H2Hs here (D1, L2).[/p]

[p]Bournemouth are five points better off than Forest and they have a game in hand after last week’s clash with Luton was abandoned following Tom Lockyer’s collapse on the field. It’s fair to say that Andoni Iraola’s side have warmed up after a slow start to the campaign, putting together a five-match unbeaten streak (W4, D1) which includes impressive PL victories ‘to nil’ over Newcastle and Manchester United.[/p]

[p]As they head north, three straight PL wins on the road (they’ve never won four before) should have them travelling with confidence, and going unbeaten at the City Ground since 2015 (W2, D1) could have them assuming the mantle of favourites for this one. That would be just the second time since the start of last term that they would start a PL away game as the bookmaker’s choice (W1).[/p]

[p]Players to watch: Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White has netted four of his last five club goals after the 50th minute, with his last three at any time coming at home from the penalty spot. Marcos Senesi scored in both of Bournemouth’s last two fixtures, once opening and once completing the scoring.[/p]

[p]Hot stat: Only Tottenham have scored more first-half PL goals away from home this term than Bournemouth’s seven.[/p]
