Nottingham Brighton prediction 2023-11-25

Nottingham vs Brighton prediction: ENGLAND: Premier League betting tips on match 2023-11-24 15:00.
[p]Nottingham Forest may have spent the international break working on their set piece defending after it let them down once again as they squandered a 2-1 lead to lose 3-2 away to West Ham prior to the international break. No team had conceded more goals from set pieces than Forest’s seven heading into this round, leaving them in a precarious 14th place after 12 rounds.  [/p]

[p]Forest will return to the City Ground endeavouring to work their way back up the table and there’s no better place to do it than in front of their own fans, who are yet to see them lose this Premier League (PL) season (W2, D3). In fact, the Reds remain unbeaten in a period of eight home league matches (W5, D3) including the back-end of last season, a run that began with a 3-1 win against upcoming opponents Brighton and Hove Albion.[/p]

[p]That 3-1 loss further worsened Brighton’s already poor record against their hosts in top-flight competition, in which they have now failed to win any of the last eight such encounters (D2, L6). The Seagulls will therefore flock to the City Ground with their six-point buffer ahead of Forest at risk of being reduced, especially as they themselves are in poor form after picking up just four points from their last six PL matches (D4, L2).[/p]

[p]It might all come down to how Roberto De Zerbi sets up his own defence, considering his team possess the league’s longest active scoring streak after finding the net in 28 consecutive matches. That expansive offence has come at a cost though, as they failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 16 league outings. On that note, should both sides find the back of the net once again, Brighton will set a new record for successive PL matches where both teams scored in a game with 17![/p]

[p]Players to watch: Taiwo Awoniyi usually does his best work early on, with all but two of his last 11 goals for Forest being recorded prior to half-time. That’s in stark contrast to his opposing number nine João Pedro, who netted five of his last seven club goals after half-time.[/p]

[p]Hot stat: Brighton were level at half-time only once this league season, which was a joint-low amongst the traditional top-five European leagues during the international break.[/p]
