Nottingham Leicester prediction 2025-05-11

Nottingham vs Leicester prediction: ENGLAND: Premier League betting tips on match 2025-05-10 13:15.
[p]When they beat Manchester United 1-0 at the start of April, it was looking increasingly likely that Nottingham Forest would finish in the top five of the Premier League and qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League. But their return of just one league win since (D1, L3) looks like it could severely dent their chances of playing at the elite level of European competition for the first time since 1980/81.[/p]

[p]Beginning this matchday in sixth, it is Forest’s lack of goalscoring which has caused this recent dip in form, netting at least twice in just one of their last six games across all competitions. Improving on that front will be what head coach Nuno Espírito Santo is desperately craving, and he could find inspiration from his side’s 3-1 victory in their reverse fixture against now-relegated Leicester City, as the Tricky Trees look to complete a first H2H league double since 1994/95.[/p]

[p]The visitors will be keen to deny their Midlands rivals that slice of history and will make the short trip north on the back of one of their brighter days in the top flight this season. That came in the form of a routine 2-0 win over Southampton which provided them with not only their fifth league victory of 2024/25, but also confirmation that they cannot finish bottom of the Premier League. [/p]

[p]There is little to lose for Leicester on this latest visit to the City Ground, and they will be looking to target consecutive wins for the first time since October. That is still likely to prove a tall order though, with the Foxes winless in seven away from home (D1, L6) and with just one victory to their name in their last 18 league H2Hs on the road (D5, L12). [/p]

[p]Players to watch: Two players with key milestones to hit meet here, as Forest’s Chris Wood looks to record his 100th Premier League goal contribution (G88, A11), while Jamie Vardy has the opportunity to score his 200th goal in all competitions for Leicester thanks to his strike against Southampton last weekend.[/p]

[p]Hot stat: Forest have won just one of their ten Premier League games this season when conceding the opening goal (D1, L8).[/p]
