Omonia Legia prediction 2024-11-28

Omonia vs Legia prediction: EUROPE: Conference League – League phase betting tips on match 2024-11-27 20:00.
[p]After beginning the league phase of the 2024/25 UEFA Conference League campaign with a convincing 4-0 victory over Víkingur Reykjavík, Omonia have since suffered back-to-back away defeats ‘to nil’ against Hearts and Gent. As a result, they will be delighted to be in front of their home fans again for this clash versus high-flying Legia Warsaw.  [/p]

[p]This will be the second H2H between the sides and it was the Cypriots who came out on top in Poland last time, winning 2-0 after extra time in a UEFA Champions League qualifier back in August 2020. Returning to November 2024, Valdas Dambrauskas’ side come into this clash after winning successive domestic games, and they’ve been very entertaining ones as well, involving 12 goals across the two fixtures which will leave the neutrals hoping for even more action in this one. [/p]

[p]That’s something which Legia can relate to as they’ve seen the exact same number of match goals netted across their last two games! They did lose their penultimate fixture though, away at Lech PoznaƄ 5-2, but have since returned to winning ways on Saturday against Cracovia to make it seven victories from their last eight across all competitions.[/p]

[p]The Militarians have also been very impressive across this edition of the Conference League so far, as after joining in the second qualifying round, they’ve won all but one (D1) of their nine fixtures to date. Their only setback came in a 1-1 draw at home in mid-August but since then Legia have recorded five successive victories and begin this gameweek as one of six teams with a 100% record in the league phase, and the only side yet to concede a goal in the process![/p]

[p]Players to watch: Omonia striker Mariusz StępiƄski had a strong qualifying campaign but is yet to score in the league phase. He has been in great form in domestic football though, hitting a hat-trick two weekends ago and following that up with another strike on Saturday. Attacking midfielder Luquinhas has scored three times across his last two Conference League games and has either netted or assisted in each of Legia’s last three away matches overall.[/p]

[p]Hot stat: Legia have scored 2+ goals in each of their last eight games.[/p]
