PAOK Brann prediction 2025-11-27

PAOK vs Brann prediction: EUROPE: Europa League – League phase betting tips on match 2025-11-26 17:45.
[p]With identical league phase records (W2, D1, L1) in this season’s UEFA Europa League (UEL), PAOK and Brann know that a victory here would greatly boost their top-eight aspirations.[/p]

[p]Match News and Current Form[/p]

[p]PAOK kept pace with Olympiacos at the summit of the Greek Super League by beating Kifisia 3-0 at the weekend, with that their eighth victory from their last nine competitive games. Two UEL wins embedded within that run have catapulted them up the table after a slow start (D1, L1) and greatly boosted belief that they could make successive appearances in the UEL knockouts. Few would back against PAOK’s chances of doing so improving here given their phenomenal home record, with the Greek side unbeaten in their last 16 games on home soil (W13, D3) and keeping four successive UEL home clean sheets this term. [/p]

[p]Brann may be level on points with PAOK in the league phase table, but that’s about where the similarities between these two sides end. The Norwegian side are now winless in their last five competitive games (D2, L3) following a thumping 4-0 away defeat to Molde at the weekend, and with a huge Norwegian Eliteserien final day clash at the weekend, they may be forgiven for having half an eye on that. One win from their last six away games (D1, L4) hardly makes much of a case for them preparing in perfect fashion here, but the potential to make history could be the perfect tonic to invoke a turnaround, as a clean sheet would see them become the first Norwegian team in history to keep four clean sheets in a row in major European competition.[/p]

[p]Head-to-Head History[/p]

[p]This will be a maiden H2H between these two sides. History favours PAOK though, as Norwegian teams have lost their last five away European games against Greek sides.[/p]

[p]Hot Stats and Streaks[/p]

[p]PAOK have conceded five of their six UEL league phase goals this term after half-time. [/p]

[p]Only two of PAOK’s last 12 home games saw both teams score. [/p]

[p]Brann are one of just two sides who haven’t conceded a first-half goal in this season’s UEL league phase.[/p]

[p]Only two sides have amassed fewer shots on target in the league phase than Brann’s 11. [/p]

[p]Key Players to Watch and Missing Players[/p]

[p]Georgios Giakoumakis has netted five times for PAOK this season. Three of them have been in the UEL while none of the five arrived any earlier than the 35th minute. Brann’s Bård Finne getting on the scoresheet could be a blessing for the neutral, as his last four scoring club appearances all came in games containing over 4.5 goals.[/p]

[p]Giannis Konstantelias missed PAOK’s weekend clash, while Markus Haaland is Brann’s most notable absentee. [/p]
