RB Leipzig Wolfsburg prediction 2024-11-30

RB Leipzig vs Wolfsburg prediction: GERMANY: Bundesliga betting tips on match 2024-11-29 14:30.
[p]The last time that RB Leipzig went five games without a win was April 2018, and it was shortly followed by a change of manager as Ralph Hasenhüttl left the club. It is therefore no surprise that the knives are sharpening for current boss Marco Rose, after his side matched that run by losing 1-0 to Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League (UCL) on Tuesday night (D1, L4).[/p]

[p]That was also a fifth straight defeat in the UCL league phase, which, coupled with poor form domestically, means that some fans are pining for a change. Having entered the season hoping to lift a first Bundesliga title, the Red Bulls have gone three games without success in the German top flight (D1, L2), the most recent of which was a 4-3 loss to Hoffenheim – a match they led until the 82nd minute – that leaves them eight points off top spot.[/p]

[p]Perhaps their luck will change against Wolfsburg, who have not won any of the last nine away H2Hs (D2, L7). The visitors, coached as it happens by Hasenhüttl, will arrive at the Red Bull Arena full of confidence though, given that they beat Union Berlin 1-0 in their most recent match to go five games without defeat (W3, D2) across all competitions, keeping an impressive three clean sheets during that run in the process.[/p]

[p]As such, the sticky start to the season endured by the Wolves, when they lost three of their opening four league fixtures (W1), seems a long time ago. Indeed, they have started to climb the table, and are now only two points off the coveted top six in 11th place, leaving supporters dreaming of ending their four-year European football drought.[/p]

[p]Players to watch: RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Šeško has scored six of his seven club goals this season before half-time. Fighting him for the limelight will likely be Tiago Tomás, who has netted first or last in his last seven scoring appearances.[/p]

[p]Hot stat: Only six of RB Leipzig’s 11 Bundesliga outings this term have featured 2+ goals – a joint-low for the division.[/p]
