Real Madrid Leganes prediction 2025-03-29

Real Madrid vs Leganes prediction: SPAIN: LaLiga betting tips on match 2025-03-28 20:00.
[p]Real Madrid will resume their pursuit of La Liga leaders Barcelona after recording back-to-back 2-1 league wins prior to the international break. Manager Carlo Ancelotti will be relieved that his squad appears to be unscathed from international duty – pending the resolution of a minor issue for goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois – especially with some involved in UEFA Nations League games that went beyond regulation time.[/p]

[p]One of them was Kylian Mbappé, whose latest appearance for France was his 500th senior game, and Mbappé notably has scored more goals in his debut season with Los Blancos (31) than the great Ronaldo Nazário managed in 2002/03. He’ll be spearheading their attempt to go eight home league matches unbeaten (W6, D1) while the reigning La Liga champions also try to extend a sequence of four straight wins here against Leganés after netting 14 times across those four H2Hs.[/p]

[p]The visitors have already lost twice to Real Madrid this season in league and cup action, conceding three goals on each occasion, so will be aware of the difficulties they face at the Bernabéu, especially as they’re now mired in a relegation scrap after winning just one of their last eight league games (D2, L5). But all hope is not lost as they have claimed some other big scalps this La Liga season, recording 1-0 victories over Barcelona and Atlético Madrid.[/p]

[p]That win over Barcelona was away from home, although it remains the only time Los Pepineros have picked up three points on their travels this term (D7, L6), suggesting they’ll be hard pushed to complete an impressive hat-trick of wins over the three major title contenders. After having lost their last three league away fixtures while scoring only once across those 270 minutes, even a draw here would be a major surprise.[/p]

[p]Players to watch: The aforementioned Mbappé has netted six times across Madrid’s last six La Liga home fixtures, with five of those goals coming before half-time. Defender Valentin Rosier has been busy for Leganés at both ends of the pitch, recording a goal, an assist and two bookings across his last five appearances.[/p]

[p]Hot streak: Madrid are unbeaten after leading at half-time in La Liga this term (W13, D2).[/p]
