Romania Kosovo prediction 2024-11-15

Romania vs Kosovo prediction: EUROPE: UEFA Nations League – League C betting tips on match 2024-11-14 19:45.
[p]Romania could become one of, if not the first, UEFA Nations League C (UNL) sides to secure promotion to League B if they maintain their 100% win rate with a victory over second-placed Kosovo this week. They only need a point to win the group, and even though this match is being billed as a top-of-the-table meeting between the standout leaders of the group, the opening matchday points to only one result.  [/p]

[p]Three of Romania’s 11 goals, a tally which was joint-most amongst all 54 teams prior to this matchday, came away to Kosovo in a thumping 3-0 first round victory and all before Kosovo were eventually reduced to ten men. Their four consecutive wins, three of which saw them score in both halves, follows their most successful European Championships in 24 years, and their recent rise to #43 in FIFA’s rankings is more than well deserved.[/p]

[p]Kosovo are searching for their maiden win against Romania at the fourth time of asking here following a pair of Euro 2024 qualifiers in which they drew 0-0 at home and lost 2-0 in Bucharest. They’re already assured of a berth in the play-offs at the very least, during which they would face a third-place League A side over two legs, so this is effectively a free hit at potential automatic qualification into League B for the first time.[/p]

[p]Whilst he acknowledged that automatic promotion is within their reach, head coach Franco Foda told the media that he wants his side to be more efficient and attacking after missing what he believed were many opportunities to pile on more goals in their wins over Cyprus and Lithuania. They’ll have to do so with what will be a new-look team due to a host of injuries to key players such as Milot Rashica, Leart Paqarada and Bersant Celina. [/p]

[p]Players to watch: Răzvan Marin scored from the spot before half-time in both of Romania’s UNL games last window. Baton Zabërgja has been tipped to make his international debut for Kosovo following an excellent return of six goals from his last nine games in the Albanian top flight.  [/p]

[p]Hot stat: Six of Romania’s last eight games were decided by a 2+ goal margin. [/p]
