Serbia Andorra prediction 2025-06-10

Serbia vs Andorra prediction: EUROPE: World Championship – Qualification betting tips on match 2025-06-09 18:45.
[p]A 0-0 draw away to Albania certainly wouldn’t have been how Serbia envisaged their World Cup qualification (WCQ) campaign kicking off, but they have the perfect chance to get back on track against Andorra. With England widely expected to romp to top spot in Group K, Serbia may have to settle for second spot, which would be worthy of a play-off place, as they look to qualify for a third successive World Cup finals. [/p]

[p]Some poor recent form threatens to harm their chances of doing so, with Serbia winning just two of their last 12 internationals (D7, L3). Four of those draws have come across their last five fixtures, and with a win against #173-ranked Andorra seeming a mere formality anyway, Serbia’s chances are only boosted by the fact this game falls on home soil, where they haven’t lost since 2010 (W7, D4).[/p]

[p]Andorra were never expected to make many inroads in WCQ Group K, and true to form, they’ve lost each of their opening three games. Never before have they qualified for a major tournament, and it’s going to take a major turnaround in this cycle to change that record, yet a gutsy display in a 1-0 defeat against England on Saturday at least showcased their battling qualities. [/p]

[p]While defensively they looked relatively solid against England, they again showed a lack of cutting edge in the final third as they drew a scoring blank for the third WCQ game running in this cycle. It’s a problem that has plagued them for a while now, as the microstate are now goalless in 11 of their last 12 international games, a record which certainly won’t inspire much belief ahead of this maiden H2H with Serbia. [/p]

[p]Players to watch: In line to secure his 100th Serbian cap here, record goalscorer Aleksandar Mitrović has scored a brace on three of his last five WCQ scoring appearances. Andorra’s Marc Vales is also set to hit a century of international caps here, but with his last international goal coming in 2021, he’s nowhere near as prolific as his soon-to-be fellow centurion. [/p]

[p]Hot stat: Serbia have only scored more than once in two of their last 12 internationals.[/p]
