Sevilla Mallorca prediction 2025-02-24

Sevilla vs Mallorca prediction: SPAIN: LaLiga betting tips on match 2025-02-23 20:00.
[p]A Sevilla side full of confidence get ready to host Mallorca off the back of a thrilling 4-0 away victory over Real Valladolid last time out. That was the first time they hit four away goals in a La Liga game since April 2021, and that handsome win affords them the chance  to record back-to-back league victories for the first time since April last year.[/p]

[p]They’ll need to start stringing wins together if they’re to enter the top half of the table, having finished outside of the top ten for the past three successive seasons. Sitting just four points off the top six, but still in the bottom half ahead of the matchday, fixing some faltering home form could help them realise their goal. Now amid their longest winless run at home all season (D2, L1), Sevilla will be desperate to score first as all five of their home wins this campaign saw them strike first, while all seven instances where they failed to win saw them concede first![/p]

[p]Having started 2025 with a six-match winless run (D1, L5), Mallorca finally opened their account for the calendar year with a 3-1 win against Las Palmas last weekend. Mallorca still have their sights set on finishing within the top six for the first time since 2009/10, but they’ve not been travelling well lately, losing their last two La Liga away trips without scoring – they haven’t lost three such games in a row without netting since November 2023![/p]

[p]That’s not to say there won’t be hope in the travelling fanbase, as despite having played fewer away games than the majority of the division, only Barcelona, Real Madrid and Villarreal have won more La Liga away games this season ahead of the round. Adding to that tally here may be difficult though, as they haven’t won an away league H2H in their last six attempts (D1, L5).[/p]

[p]Players to watch: Juanlu Sánchez scored twice and assisted in his side’s victory last time out, making him the first Sevilla player to be directly involved in three goals against another professional team since September 2022! Dani RodrĂguez was also involved in multiple goals in his side’s 3-1 victory over Las Palmas last time out – he’s now fifth in Mallorca’s La Liga assist charts this century (A20). [/p]

[p]Hot stat: Mallorca have conceded six goals before the half-hour mark across their last four away outings in all competitions (L4). [/p]
