Slovan Bratislava D. Zagreb prediction 2024-11-05

Slovan Bratislava vs D. Zagreb prediction: EUROPE: Champions League – League phase betting tips on match 2024-11-04 17:45.
[p]It hasn’t been a dream UEFA Champions League (UCL) main-draw debut for Slovan Bratislava so far, as they’re one of six teams to have lost each of their first three games. Having conceded 11 goals and scored just once, they find themselves rooted to the bottom of the league phase table ahead of matchday four, but the Slovakians do at least come here on the back of three domestic wins..[/p]

[p]Having come through four qualifying rounds to reach this stage, Slovan had posted four consecutive UCL home wins before a 4-0 drubbing at the hands of Manchester City on matchday two. That ended an eight-match scoring run in UCL home games, and the Sky Blues will now look to revive the form that saw them net 14 goals in the four home qualifiers this campaign.[/p]

[p]Inspiration is in plain sight as Dinamo Zagreb have shown how it’s possible to revive a UCL campaign, following up a 9-2 thrashing at the hands of Bayern Munich on matchday one with four points from their two previous games. The Croats also carry the confidence of remaining unbeaten across six previous games against teams from Slovakia (W4, D2).[/p]

[p]That includes two wins from three such away games (D1), which should give them confidence that they can continue their revival this campaign. Dinamo should hold belief that they can build on that here too, as they’ve also been impressive on their recent UCL travels, winning three of their last five such games (D1, L1) scoring exactly twice in all those five matches.[/p]

[p]Players to watch: Tigran Barseghyan scored Slovan’s final goal in their last two matches, which was also the case with his two strikes in the UCL this season, both of which came in home games. Dinamo’s response could come from Sandro Kulenović, who has four goals across as many club matches – he netted their opener in a 2-0 away win on the last matchday.[/p]

[p]Hot stat: Seven of Slovan’s last nine home UCL matches saw the opening goal scored before the 30th minute.[/p]
