Stuttgart Wolfsburg prediction 2025-02-15

Stuttgart vs Wolfsburg prediction: GERMANY: Bundesliga betting tips on match 2025-02-14 14:30.
[p]Remaining in the Bundesliga top-four race after a 2-1 win over Dortmund, Stuttgart can keep the pressure on if they can secure a third successive victory in all competitions. Back-to-back league defeats before their current resurgence means that the Swabians sit eight points worse off than at the same stage last term, although their current haul is still stronger than at the same stage of every other season across the previous decade. [/p]

[p]A home return may well aid further progress for Stuttgart, who despite losing last time out here against Gladbach, have not lost consecutive home league games since March 2023, one month before current boss Sebastian Hoeneß’s appointment. Hoeneß himself has an imperious record against Wolfsburg, boasting a six-match unbeaten run in personal H2Hs (W5, D1), with all six of those games seeing both teams score. [/p]

[p]Despite heading here on the back of a four-game winless run (D3, L1), Wolfsburg’s European hopes remain intact. Closing the gap to the top-six is the goal for boss Ralph Hasenhüttl, who has overseen a seven-point improvement compared to this exact stage last season, and his active four-match unbeaten run in personal meetings with Stuttgart (W1, D3) would suggest he should be confident of seeing his side secure a positive result here. [/p]

[p]With 17 of Wolfsburg’s 30 points this season won on the road, they make up one of three sides to perform better away from home in the Bundesliga (W5, D2, L3). Despite those encouraging numbers, and the fact they’ve scored in all but one away game, they’ve won just one trip against sides beginning the round above them (D1, L3), which will certainly temper their expectations a little. [/p]

[p]Players to watch: Jamie Leweling, who assisted the decisive goal for Stuttgart last weekend, has been on the winning side in five of his six games scoring appearances for the club (D1). Jonas Wind scored the opener in the reverse fixture, one of four match openers across his last nine Bundesliga scoring appearances for Wolfsburg. [/p]

[p]Hot stat: Wolfsburg have avoided defeat in half of their league games as pre-match outsiders this season (W2, D4, L6). [/p]
