Torino Udinese prediction 2025-04-21

Torino vs Udinese prediction: ITALY: Serie A betting tips on match 2025-04-20 10:30.
[p]A 1-0 defeat against Como last weekend ended Torino’s six-game unbeaten run, but it did not prevent Paolo Vanoli’s men from starting this round in the top half of the standings. With the season winding down, Torino have little to play for and that is perhaps reflected in their recent form which includes just one victory from their last five matches (D3, L1), and with only Juventus picking up more than their 13 draws this Serie A term, it’s clear what has held them back this season.[/p]

[p]The arrival of Udinese represents a chance for Torino to get back to winning ways as they are unbeaten at home against current bottom-half sides (W3, D5), despite scoring more than once in only one of those eight matches! It’s no surprise then that owing to their solid defence, only three of their 15 home league matches this season produced more than 2.5 goals, marking them out as a team to avoid for the neutrals.[/p]

[p]Starting this round in the bottom half of the standings only due an inferior goal difference, Udinese have the opportunity to leapfrog Torino with a victory here. They may have to dig deep for motivation as they also find themselves in mid-table purgatory due to poor form, with Kosta Runjaić’s men losing four consecutive matches in a row, a sequence extended by a 4-0 defeat against Milan last round.[/p]

[p]Having won just once on the road this calendar year (W1, D3, L3), including back-to-back losses to Genoa and Inter, it appears unlikely that the situation will change here. Udinese have also won just one of their last eight away H2Hs (D2, L5) and the same can be said about their 11 league away matches against teams starting this round outside of the bottom six (W1, D4, L6).[/p]

[p]Players to watch: Ché Adams has already scored nine competitive goals for Torino, with one of his eight second-half goals coming in the reverse fixture. He scored just a few minutes after Lorenzo Lucca in that match, which was one of Lucca’s nine competitive goals this season to be recorded between the 31st and 60th minutes.  [/p]

[p]Hot stat: A league-low nine of Udinese’s matches have been level at half-time (HT: W12, D9, L11).[/p]
