Toulouse Brest prediction 2025-03-30

Toulouse vs Brest prediction: FRANCE: Ligue 1 betting tips on match 2025-03-29 13:00.
[p]Toulouse and Brest are separated by just three points and one place in the Ligue 1 table, but it is the hosts, sitting tenth, who are looking to erase that deficit and end a two-match winless run (D1, L1). Brest are not opponents that Les Violets have enjoyed facing in recent years though, with Toulouse winning none of the last seven H2Hs (D3, L4).  [/p]

[p]Along with Toulouse’s pessimism about recent results in this fixture is the fact that they have struggled at home this season, picking up just four wins in 13 such league games (D4, L5). They last tasted victory in Ligue 1 at Stadium de Toulouse all the way back in mid-December (D2, L3), and a winless home record this season against sides starting the round above them (D2, L4) hardly inspires hope of a turnaround here.[/p]

[p]Brest sit seven points off the top six and the European qualification places heading into the upcoming round of fixtures, and while they will believe that aim is just about still within reach, a win here seems imperative to keep the dream alive. Hitting the road probably isn’t ideal for Brest then, who are winless in their last three away games across all competitions (D1, L2). [/p]

[p]Éric Roy’s men aren’t a lost cause though, as they have kept the joint-most clean sheets in Ligue 1 in 2025 along with Strasbourg (five) going into matchday 27. Roy’s record as a manager against Toulouse is also impressive, having gone unbeaten in ten such encounters during his career (W6, D4) – the most games he has overseen without defeat against a single opponent during his time in the dugout.[/p]

[p]Players to watch: Shavy Babicka has failed to score in his last 15 matches for club and country, but his last goal came in Toulouse’s most recent home league win against Saint-Étienne (2-1). Five of Abdallah Sima’s last seven goals have arrived after half-time and the Senegal international provided an assist in Brest’s 2-0 victory over Toulouse in September. [/p]

[p]Hot streak: The home team on the day has not scored before the break in Toulouse’s last ten matches.[/p]
