Toulouse Le Havre prediction 2024-09-15

Toulouse vs Le Havre prediction: FRANCE: Ligue 1 betting tips on match 2024-09-14 15:00.
[p]With no win in their opening three games (D2, L1), Toulouse haven’t started a Ligue 1 campaign this badly since 2013/14. They may not have enjoyed having the international break either, where they were left to stew on a disastrous 3-1 defeat to Marseille in which they conceded twice and were down to ten men inside the opening 30 minutes, meaning they’ve already matched last season’s tally for Ligue 1 red cards after just three games![/p]

[p]Toulouse’s form at home also leaves plenty to be desired, as they haven’t won a Ligue 1 game here since beating Nice in early March (D3, L4), scoring just once across the last three of those fixtures (D1, L2). Pressure could soon start to grow for the Violets, who are in desperate need of goals as they seek to improve on a couple of mid-table finishes following promotion in 2021/22.[/p]

[p]Scoring hasn’t been a problem for Le Havre, who have netted an average of two goals per game across the start of their Ligue 1 season (W2, L1) and have won consecutive top-flight games in the same season for the first time since 2003. It’s been a bright start under new manager Didier Digard who is now aiming to guide his side to a third consecutive H2H win.[/p]

[p]They completed the double over Toulouse last term, including a 2-1 win in this corresponding fixture, the fourth away H2H in a row to produce over 2.5 goals (W1, L3). But if the Sky and Navy are to triumph again, it will see them make more history as they haven’t won consecutive Ligue 1 away games since April 1998![/p]

[p]Players to watch: Shavy Babicka, who scored for Gabon against Central African Republic earlier this week, has netted after the 75th minute in both of his Ligue 1 appearances for Toulouse this term. Le Havre captain Arouna Sangante likes to make a late impact too, registering four of his five goals for the club between the 50th and 80th minute.[/p]

[p]Hot stat: Toulouse are yet to score before half-time in Ligue 1 this term.[/p]
